Today the four of us [Myself, Alex, Nicholas, Jason] [or more ARMY appropriate: the Houghtons, Acosta, and Beharry] decided to hike Mount Soyosan just north of Dongdoucheon. We walked about forty minutes to find the trail head. The scenery to and from Mount Soyoson was spectacular and lively, as spring graced the land that was once, not too long ago, barren. Alex quickly befriended a (may be classified as overly friendly) Korean-American man named Mr. Lee. He showed us some awesome temples before we began our first flight of stairs. Unfortunately, Beharry took on the steep and jagged slopes with a pair of flip-flops!

We have yet to make it to the top of Soyoson if you’re wondering. I’d rather not say it was my fault so I’ll blame it on the flip-flops. This upcoming weekend we are headed up the mountain again! Scroll down for more pictures =)
